After the release of veteran SS Charlie Peprah, Charles Woodson moved to replace him as the SS in the 3-4 base alignment. This allows us to have Charles Woodson closer to the line of scrimmage where we all know he can blitz, stop the run, and jam receivers effectively. His move also opens up a job for who plays outside of Tramon Williams during base. Apparently the Packers coaching staff think that special teams ace Jarrett Bush is ready to take on coverage jobs. The Packers have continued their active off-season with some more moves with undrafted free agents. Earlier this week the Packers waived WR Marcus Rivers, and claimed S Micah Pellerin from waivers after the Colts waived him . This move actually surprised a lot of Cheeseheads, many thought Rivers would be on the practice squad and develop his talent and compete to replace Driver during the 2013 season. Read more »
